1. Balangoda Pradeshiya Sabha - Imposition of Tax on Advertisements / Visual Environment for the Year 2026
It is hereby notified to the public that the following resolution was approved by the Sabha under Decision No. 06.01 at the General Assembly meeting of Balangoda Pradeshiya Sabha held on September 11, 2025.

Under the provisions of Section 122(1) of the Pradeshiya Sabha Act No. 15 of 1987, and in accordance with the provisions of the Advertisements / Visual Environment By-law in Part 39 of the Standard By-laws approved by the Hon. Minister of Housing and Construction and published in Extraordinary Gazette No. 520/7 dated 1988.08.23, Balangoda Pradeshiya Sabha proposes to levy a license fee for causing any advertisement to be displayed visible to any street, road, canal, or sky within the Balangoda Pradeshiya Sabha area, as specified in the schedule below.
